Job summary

Davies Group seeks a proactive Loss Adjuster Technician to join our Claims Management team in Stoke. You will assist Adjusters with managing complex claims, handling client and supplier communications, and preparing reports with accuracy and timeliness.

The role emphasizes autonomous work within delegated authority, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases, particularly when the Adjuster is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in property claims management.
• Experience reviewing scopes of work and identifying errors is preferred.
• Ability to contribute to claim reserving and reserve movements.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to dedicated Adjuster(s) in the management of claims.
• Manage your own caseload in collaboration with Adjusters within delegated authority.
• Handle inbound calls and take action to support customers, suppliers and clients.
• Review and issue reports to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints with a focus on best outcomes.
• Appoint and manage suppliers, monitor progress without adjusting interventions.
• Make outbound calls to customers, suppliers and clients as required.
• Complete and action all administrative tasks related to claims.
• Support Adjusters in making technical decisions within competency-based arrangements.
