Job summary

Stantec in the United Kingdom is seeking a Process Engineer - Wastewater to join our growing teams across Birmingham, Derby, Redditch, Cardiff or Bristol. You will develop practical treatment solutions and deliver high-quality engineering outputs within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You will contribute to designs, calculations and reports from feasibility through to construction support, expanding your expertise while helping deliver sustainable wastewater services for communities

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Interest or experience in process engineering within the water sector.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and wastewater treatment.
• Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organise your workload and meet project deadlines.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process designs, calculations, mass balances and wastewater treatment assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction support.
• Assist with site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and develop effective engineering solutions.
• Build your technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on project experience.
