Job summary

Stantec in Birmingham leads projects that improve wastewater treatment performance and protect the environment. In the Process Engineer – Wastewater role, you will contribute to designs, calculations and assessments across a portfolio of wastewater schemes while gaining exposure to multidisciplinary teams.

You will work on feasibility through to detailed design and construction support, developing your technical expertise and advancing your career within a collaborative, flexible environment

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to process designs, calculations, mass balances and wastewater treatment assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction support.
• Assist with site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and develop engineering solutions.
• Build technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on project experience.
