Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a skilled operative to work from Carlisle WWTW on a Bucket 1 reactive contract for United Utilities. The role involves jetting, CCTV, and investigations, with shifts from 8am–6pm front and 12pm–10pm back, plus weekends and bank holidays.

Training can be provided for HGV Class 2 and related competencies. You will work closely with a UU operative, handling data entry, safety reporting, and routine equipment maintenance to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction in a

Qualifications

• Experience with high pressure water jetting operations.
• Valid HGV Class 2 licence or willingness to train.
• Familiar with NRSWA requirements and traffic management.
• Ability to perform CCTV inspections when required.

Responsibilities

• You will be working closely with a CST to clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
• Attend to customers, inform them of works and answer concerns as well as timescales.
• Inspect and investigate drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage.
• Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess underground pipes and sewers.
