Job summary

United Utilities is seeking a Network Asset Engineer to maintain the wastewater network across pumping stations and detention tanks. The role requires shift work and a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.

You will diagnose faults, perform scheduled maintenance, review telemetry, respond to incidents, and work with contractors as PCW to deliver on-time, on-budget tasks while protecting essential services.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in mechanical discipline.
• Experience with wastewater network assets and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding to identify root causes across Wastewater Network assets.
• Scheduled maintenance for asset reliability and safety compliance.
• Review telemetry alarms and update asset records with contingency planning.
