Job summary

Lanes Group Ltd is recruiting drainage operatives to join the Sapphire Utility Solutions team supporting United Utilities across a long-term contract. You will perform pre-surveys, CCTV and jetting of drainage networks, with full training provided and a company van to take to worksites.

Expect 50 hours per week, occasional travel, and a safety-first environment where customer communication and accurate data entry are essential to delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• A manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Experience is essential.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Competent in IT and accurate data entry.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
• Attend to customers, inform them of works and provide timescales.
• Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or damage to water flow.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Assist with CCTV inspections as required to assess underground pipes and sewers.
• Record data using a tablet and comply with safety procedures.
