Hydro International is recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to join the UK Wastewater Services team in Manningtree. This on-site position welcomes an experienced mechanical engineer with City & Guilds and a recognised apprenticeship, offering a circa £50,000 salary with DOE and nationwide site work.

You will install and test filtration systems, inspect sites, interpret technical instructions on mobile devices, and travel overnight as required. A valid driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Valid Driving License.
• City & Guilds qualification required.
• Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in some of our workshops across the country on occasion.
• Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.

The Mechanical Engineer will ne working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom.

We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join us at our Manningtree branch.
