Opus People Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Rugby Borough Council, is recruiting a Waste & Street Cleansing Supervisor to lead and support operational teams delivering recycling, refuse and street cleansing services onsite in Rugby. This role focuses on safe, efficient service delivery to meet performance targets.

The position is a 3-month contract with a review for extension, 37 hours per week, and an hourly rate of £17.44.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience supervising operational teams in waste management or street cleansing.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of recycling, refuse and street cleansing services.
• Organise and monitor staff performance and compliance.
• Respond to and resolve customer complaints following council procedures.
• liaise with councillors, officers and other departments to maintain service quality.
• Communicate clearly with the public to uphold the council image.
• Monitor operational costs and purchasing.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are used and maintained correctly.
• Provide accurate data reports on performance and service levels.
• Oversee agency staff and overall team performance.
