We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Relationship Manager to join our growing business in the waste management sector. As a Relationship Manager, you will be essential in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for long-term partnerships while working closely with our partner suppliers to succeed. Your primary goal will be to support the development and retention of client accounts within our waste management division, offering exceptional service and fostering long-term trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Collaborate with the waste management team to identify opportunities for strengthening and growing our client relationships across the UK.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and ensuring they receive optimal service from Stadia Utilities' managed services.
  • Consultative Support: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on waste management solutions, addressing any concerns, and ensuring smooth transitions and positive experiences.
  • Proposal and Solution Development: Work with clients to identify the most suitable solutions for their waste management needs and coordinate with the team to develop proposals that meet those needs.
  • Negotiation and Renewals: Engage with clients to address concerns, negotiate terms for services, and facilitate contract renewals or extensions.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to provide relevant insights to clients and ensure our services remain competitive and effective.
  • Networking and Client Engagement: Attend industry events, networking functions, and meetings with clients to foster strong relationships and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the waste management team to ensure seamless service delivery and satisfaction for clients.
  • Reporting and Client Feedback: Provide regular updates on client relationships, satisfaction, and any areas of improvement, sharing insights with your line manager.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Familiarity with the waste management industry and an understanding of challenges businesses face in managing waste services.
  • Customer-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions.
  • Results-Oriented: A proven ability to foster client retention and growth, ensuring client satisfaction and service delivery are consistently met.
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel between offices and client sites in the Grantham and Leicester areas.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, working well within a team to support overall company success.
  • Adaptability: Ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving industry and embrace new technologies.
