Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Education, Communications and Outreach (ECO) Lead in Solihull to develop and deliver community engagement and service improvement projects, reducing waste and increasing recycling. You will work with the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and the regional ECO team to ensure high standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and managing projects.
• Strong budget management skills.
• Experience delivering behaviour change/community engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentations.
• Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships.
• Passion for sustainability and environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver community engagement and service improvement projects in Solihull.
• Build strong relationships with the client and Veolia colleagues; respond to queries.
• Lead ECO delivery for Veolia Solihull; provide occasional support to other contracts.
• Drive ECO performance through planning and a bespoke engagement approach.
• Deliver social value initiatives across local employment, community and staff engagement.
• Identify good news stories and coordinate with external engagement teams.
• Work with senior ECO team on internal communications campaigns.
• Manage the contract ECO team budget and BAU outputs.
