Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting for Recycling Operatives at a site in Broughton, Chester, working to support waste management for client sites. The role is initially 8:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with training leading to shift patterns and potential permanent progression.

The job requires a full driving licence, the ability to work outdoors in all weather, and previous waste/recycling experience is advantageous. Own transport is essential to reach the remote site.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day site operations and waste requirements.
• Ensure waste streams are collected and segregated correctly (metals, cardboard, wood, general waste and hazardous materials).
• Work with site staff to support smooth operations for client sites.
• Follow supervisor instructions and health & safety policies at all times.
