Job summary

GMCA is seeking an Education & Behavioural Change Manager to lead the Recycle for Greater Manchester education team. The role involves developing and delivering engaging education programmes for schools, community groups and professional audiences, including tours of facilities such as the Materials Recovery Facility and solar farm.

You will manage a team, develop learning resources, and help ensure sessions are inclusive and delivered to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, training, teaching or community engagement.
• Ability to create engaging sessions for diverse audiences.
• Comfort delivering tours of facilities and outreach sessions.

Responsibilities

• Lead education team delivering school, community and professional sessions.
• Design learning resources and session plans for inclusivity and accessibility.
• Deliver facility tours and outreach activities across Greater Manchester.
• Ensure health and safety, safeguarding and risk management for all activities.
• Collaborate with GMCA, SUEZ, local authorities and partners to improve programme impact.
