Job summary

GMCA seeks an Education & Behavioral Change Manager to lead the Recycle for Greater Manchester education team, delivering engaging programmes for schools, community groups, students and professionals. You will supervise staff, design learning resources and ensure safety and safeguarding across activities, including tours of MRF, Renew Hub and solar farm.

Strong experience in education, training, teaching or community engagement.
Ability to develop engaging sessions for diverse audiences.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of an engaging education programme for schools, community groups, students and professional audiences.
Deliver facility tours and outreach sessions across Greater Manchester.
Manage and support colleagues, set clear priorities and maintain high standards.
Develop learning resources and session plans that are inclusive and accessible for different audiences.
Ensure activities are planned and delivered safely with health and safeguarding arrangements.
Collaborate with GMCA, SUEZ, local authorities, schools and community partners; use feedback to improve the programme and demonstrate impact.
