Bolton Council is recruiting a Waste Prevention and Recycling Officer to join the Waste and Recycling team in Greater Manchester. You will educate residents and partners, design promotional campaigns and lead behaviour-change initiatives to improve recycling rates across the borough.

• Experience in an operational frontline service environment.
• Knowledge of waste and recycling schemes and related legislation.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

• Design and deliver promotional campaigns to educate residents, neighbourhood groups and partners.
• Lead social behaviour change initiatives and support enforcement in delivering outcomes.
• Create training for operational teams and develop media campaigns; produce regular management reports.
