Job summary

Apleona is recruiting a Waste Operative to coordinate and manage waste on site in Beckton, London. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will ensure proper use of materials and maintain high cleanliness standards across assigned areas.

You will perform regular equipment checks, support cleaning services, and collaborate with customers and teams. Full training is provided, and equality in hiring is emphasized.

Qualifications

• FLT Licence (essential).
• Experience in a similar role and/or environment.
• Desirable training in waste management and standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels.

We’re currently looking to recruit a Waste Operative who will be responsible for the coordinating and handling of the waste management on our site. Reporting into the Supervisor, you will provide a quality waste management service ensuring correct use of materials, equipment and methods are always used and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within areas of responsibility.

In this role you will be required to perform regular checks of equipment and machines and assist with other tasks within your capabilities in order to maintain and improve the cleaning services within the premises.

As an Apleona Waste Operative, we’re looking for:

• FLT Licence (essential)
• Experience working in a similar type of role and/or environment
• Previous training in waste management and standards in desirable
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels
