Job summary

Apleona Hsg Facility Management is currently recruiting a Site Waste Coordinator for our Halstead site (CO9 2SY). Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will coordinate waste management at the factory and work hands-on with waste loading and on-site deep cleans.

A valid FLT licence is essential; you should have experience in waste handling, strong communication, basic PC skills, and the physical ability for manual tasks. Overtime rates and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• FLT licence (essential).
• Experience working in a similar role and/or environment.
• Experience of handling waste.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic PC skills.
• Physically able to undertake a variety of manual tasks.
• Previous experience of using baler machines is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and handle waste management at the client site.
• Deal with all aspects of waste from the factory and interact with client teams and waste providers.
• Use and manage baler and compactors in line with health and safety rules.
• Support the Facilities Manager and assist with site deep cleans and moving waste.

Site Waste Coordinator

Location – Halstead, CO9 2SY

Hours – Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 15:30pm

• £28,699 per annum / £13.75 per hour

We’re currently looking to recruit a Site Waste Coordinator to be responsible for co-ordinating and handling the waste management at our busy client site.Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will deal with all aspects of waste from the factory and interact with the client teams and waste providers - this is a very hand on position, and you will be involved in moving and loading of waste and deep cleans at site.

In this role you will be required to use and manage baler and compacters, aligning with the health and safety rules on site. We’re looking for someone who is willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to this position in order to support the manager,team and our client.

As an Apleona Waste Operative, we’re looking for:

• FLT licence (essential)
