Job summary

Apleona UK is hiring a Waste Operative for our Beckton site in London. You will coordinate waste management activities, ensure proper handling of materials and maintain cleanliness across assigned areas.

The role requires an FLT licence (essential) and experience in similar roles. Training will be provided, with opportunities to work with customers and teams across the facility.

Qualifications

• FLT licence is essential.
• Experience in a similar waste/cleaning role is desirable.
• Desirable: training in waste management and standards.

  Hours – Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 18:00pm

  We’re currently looking to recruit a Waste Operative who will be responsible for the coordinating and handling of the waste management on our site. Reporting into the Supervisor, you will provide a quality waste management service ensuring correct use of materials, equipment and methods are always used and maintaining high standards of cleanliness within areas of responsibility.

  In this role you will be required to perform regular checks of equipment and machines and assist with other tasks within your capabilities in order to maintain and improve the cleaning services within the premises.

  As an Apleona Waste Operative, we’re looking for:

  • FLT Licence (essential)
  • Experience working in a similar type of role and/or environment
  • Previous training in waste management and standards in desirable
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels
