Job summary

Apleona UK is hiring a Site Waste Coordinator to coordinate waste management at a busy client site. You will report to the Facilities Manager, handling waste from the factory and engaging with client teams and waste providers.

The role involves moving waste, deep cleans, and operating balers and compactors in a safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate will hold an FLT licence, have experience in waste handling, and possess good communication and basic IT skills.

• Experience of handling waste in a similar role or environment.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and handle waste management at the client site.
• Interact with client teams and waste providers.
• Move and load waste and perform deep cleans on site.
• Use and manage baler and compactor equipment while following health and safety rules.
• Support the Facilities Manager and team as needed.

Hours - Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 15:30pm

We're currently looking to recruit a Site Waste Coordinator to be responsible for co-ordinating and handling the waste management at our busy client site. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, you will deal with all aspects of waste from the factory and interact with the client teams and waste providers - this is a very hand on position, and you will be involved in moving and loading of waste and deep cleans at site.

In this role you will be required to use and manage baler and compacters, aligning with the health and safety rules on site. We're looking for someone who is willing to pitch in with a variety of tasks linked to this position in order to support the manager, team and our client.

As an Apleona Waste Operative, we're looking for:

• FLT licence (essential)
• Experience working in a similar role and/or environment
• Experience of handling waste
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Basic PC skills
• Physically able to undertake a variety of manual tasks
• Previous experience of using baler machines is desirable
