Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a data-focused Environment and Waste Officer to join the team at County Hall, Leicester. You will receive, process and validate waste and environmental data, support invoicing, and contribute to statutory returns while delivering high-quality services.

With GCSEs or equivalent, experience in data analysis and budget monitoring, you will work closely with your line manager to plan and prioritise tasks, using MS Office to colla te information and produce

Qualifications

• Hold a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English OR Hold a BTEC National, NVQ3 or equivalent Level 3 qualification
• Experience in data analysis, using MS Office packages sufficient to collate information and produce reports
• Knowledge of waste management services that local authorities provide and how they provide them
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal as well as good numeric skills
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and priorities own work
• Knowledge and experience of budget monitoring
