Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a dedicated professional to support the delivery of waste and environmental services. You will handle data processing, invoice validation and contribute to statutory returns, working closely with your line manager.

Ideal candidates will have a maths/english qualification, data analysis experience with MS Office, and strong communication and organisational skills. Budget monitoring experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hold GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience in data analysis using MS Office to collate information and produce reports.
• Knowledge of waste management services that local authorities provide.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong numeric skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise own work.
• Knowledge and experience of budget monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of waste and environmental services and related data processing.
• Take ownership of receiving, processing and validating waste data and associated invoices, including statutory returns.
