Job summary

A leading Hazardous Waste Management company is seeking a Business Development Manager in Exeter for a full-time, permanent position. Successful candidates will lead customer service and sales efforts, exploring new business opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships. Ideal candidates should possess at least 3 years of relevant experience with a track record in sales exceeding targets, alongside essential driving qualifications.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales/business development, preferably in the waste industry, aerosols, or vapes.
  • Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets of over £450k per annum.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and car.

Job Description:

CK Group are recruiting for a Business Development Manager in the South of England, to join a Hazardous Waste Management company, on a full time, permanent basis. The salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience.

Location:

This is a field-based role, covering the South of England. You must be living in the South of the UK to apply.

Business Development Manager

Role:

Your main duties will be:

  • Customer service and sales.
  • Identifying and securing new business and new customer opportunities, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Attending conferences/networking events to promote the company and increase awareness, as well as carrying out client site visits.
  • Creating and presenting quotations and proposals.
  • Working closely with Internal Sales and finance teams.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales/business development - preferably in the waste industry, aerosols or vapes.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets of over £450k per annum.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and car.
