Mortimer House Kitchen is seeking a friendly Restaurant Floor Team Member to welcome guests, take orders, and ensure a smooth service on a busy central London floor. You will work across service periods, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, keeping tables tidy and the dining room inviting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or guest-facing role.
• Excellent communication and warm manner.
• Ability to manage several tables and stay composed during busy periods.
• A proactive team player who goes the extra mile.
• Willing to work a mix of days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and guide them through the menu.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and share recommendations.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and with care.
• Keep tables beautifully set and the dining room ready.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar to ensure smooth shifts.
• Take payments accurately.
• Keep the dining room clean, safe and welcoming.
