Scarlet is seeking a Food & Beverage Host to create a warm, welcoming dining experience in our restaurant and lounge spaces on the Cornwall coast. You will help deliver thoughtful hospitality and exceptional service for guests from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, knowing menus and dietary requirements, coordinating seating, and supporting the team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles is preferred.
• Friendly, welcoming demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests with warmth and genuine hospitality.
• Manage reservations and seating plans for smooth service.
• Build knowledge of menus, drinks, specials and dietary requirements.
• Support the restaurant team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and FOH teams during service.
• Respond to guest requests with care and professionalism.
• Maintain beautifully presented and inviting guest areas.
• Help create a calm, relaxed atmosphere even during peak times.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and support colleagues.
