Job summary

Scarlet is a restaurant and lounge in Cornwall, delivering thoughtful hospitality and exceptional service to every guest. As a Food & Beverage Host, you will welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and help the team deliver a seamless dining experience with a calm, friendly presence.

We value someone who is warm, organised and attentive, with strong communication and teamwork. A background in hospitality is advantageous, and a true passion for great service is key.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or guest-facing experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating plans with care.
• Knowledge of menus, drinks and dietary requirements is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with warmth and genuine hospitality.
• Managing reservations and coordinating seating plans.
• Building knowledge of menus, drinks and dietary requirements.
• Supporting the team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Communicating with kitchen and FOH teams during service.
• Responding to guest requests with care and attention to detail.
• Maintaining inviting guest areas and calm atmosphere during busy times.
• Contributing to a positive team culture.
