Job summary

B&M Retail in Speke is recruiting a proactive Warehouse Trainer to join the Vault Distribution Centre training team. You’ll lead new starter inductions, site tours and health and safety training, ensuring high professional standards while supporting a fast-moving logistics operation.

Full training is provided; prior training experience is welcome but not essential. You’ll work Monday-Friday nights, 10pm-6am, and report to the Training Manager while helping with MHE coaching and system setup.

Qualifications

• Experience in training or leading teams is beneficial, but not essential as full training is provided.
• Strong focus on Health & Safety and safeguarding standards within a busy warehouse environment.
• Ability to monitor KPIs and coach others to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver induction presentations and site tours.
• Deliver Manual Handling and other Health & Safety training.
• Provide MHE training on LLOPs and PPTs.
• Create accounts on the warehouse management system.
• Explain headset, device and Blue Yonder voice system during training.
• Complete relevant paperwork to remain H&S compliant.
• Report to the Training Manager.

Warehouse Trainer - The Vault Distribution Centre

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday Nights (10pm-6am)

Rate of Pay: £15.50 plus training bonus

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative who is seeking to join our Training Team in The Vault Distribution Centre in Speke.

Our warehouse operatives are the backbone of our distribution and logistics team, without them, our operation comes to a standstill. Training all new operatives is therefore a very important and rewarding role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that carries out all new starter and MHE training and plays a vital role in upkeeping Health and Safety standards throughout our operation.

Although experience is desired, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

Warehouse colleagues are responsible for picking, packing and loading/unloading our stock onto our fleet of vehicles. The training team is responsible for training these operatives and focussing on health and safety whilst maintaining professional standards.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Delivering induction presentations and site tours
• Delivering Manual Handling and other Health and Safety training
• MHE training on LLOPs and PPTs
• Creating accounts on our warehouse management system
• Pick training, explaining the headset, device and Blue Yonder voice system
• Completing relevant paperwork in a timely fashion to remain H&S compliant
• Reporting to the Training Manager
