Job summary

B&M Retail Limited in Speke is hiring for a full-time warehouse operative. You will pick, pack and load/unload stock for distribution to stores, with full in-house training on Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE). The role emphasizes speed, accuracy, teamwork and a commitment to health and safety.

Experience in warehousing is welcome; there is no cold storage in these sites, and salary uplifts vary by shift and level of training. Training is provided to help you develop this skillset.

Job description

Are you looking to enter the world of Warehousing and Logistics? Or perhaps you already have Warehousing experience and are looking to join one of the UK’s largest retailers?

We are currently searching for enthusiastic colleagues to join B&M in our Distribution Centre in Speke.

The Shift Pattern(s) available are: Various

Various salary uplifts available depending on shift and level of training.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on various MHE.

What you’ll be doing:

Warehouse colleagues are responsible for picking, packing and loading/unloading our stock onto our fleet of vehicles. They do this with speed, accuracy and above all, teamwork. This role will require manual handling of boxes up to 25KG.

Please note: We do not have cold storage or freezers in our warehouses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packaging items from our warehouse, ready for distribution to our stores (full training will be provided)
• Loading and unloading of HGV containers
• Safe usage of our Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) including LLOP’s and PPT’s (full training will be provided)
