Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a Team Manager for our Bedford Distribution Centre to lead a hands-on warehouse team and drive performance. This full-time, permanent role provides in-house training on our systems and requires prior warehouse experience.

You will report to the Shift Manager and be responsible for coaching staff, managing KPI delivery, and maintaining safety standards across the site.

Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics/Warehousing professional? Are you ready to take that first step into management? Or are you already leading a team and want to join one of the UK’s largest retailers?

We are currently searching for a Team Manager to join the team in our Distribution Centre in Bedford.

The Shift Pattern available is: Weekend Nights

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take responsibility for a team of colleagues and lead them to deliver a fast, accurate and efficient service in our warehouse. You will be reporting directly to the Shift Manager.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on our internal systems, but you must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, motivating and supporting your team to deliver high service levels
• Managing your section in terms of KPI’s
• Maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially with Health and Safety
• Conducting development reviews and providing advice to colleagues where appropriate
• Planning and managing staff training, conducting interviews and investigations where required.
