Job summary

Warburtons is seeking Warehouse Team Members for our Burnley Bakery to support fast-paced operations. You will work across a range of processes and equipment to ensure safe, high-quality production and on-time delivery to distribution. The Burnley site employs around 360 colleagues across seven plants and operates almost year-round.

You will benefit from a full induction, ongoing training, and a strong emphasis on health, safety and quality in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Flexible shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Experience in a similar FMCG role.
• Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy.
• Ability to work safely and consider the safety of others.

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: You will take responsibility for putting safety first and always behave in a manner that ensures your own safety and that of others.
• Team Support: You will provide basic support and guidance within the team, leading by example.
• Compliance: You will comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards and working practices.
• Equipment Operation: You will take responsibility for operating a wide range of equipment across the operation to deliver site standards.

  Located in the heart of Lancashire is the home of our delicious Crumpets, Pancakes, and Potato Cakes and other freshly baked products that are produced and distributed from our Burnley Bakery. With approximately 360 colleagues, working across 7 manufacturing plants and on a variety of different shift patterns, we operate 363 days of the year running 24 hours a day.
