Job summary

Warburtons is seeking a Warehouse Team Member in Biggleswade to join our distribution operations. This permanent role is on a 4 on 2 off night rota, with hours from 18:00 to 03:00, and a weekly salary of £595.70.

You will be part of a busy warehouse team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely movement of goods while upholding Warburtons' standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Flexible shift pattern including nights and weekends.
• Experience in FMCG environments preferred.
• Good numeracy and written/verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing?

As a Warehouse Team Member, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes while upholding our reputation for exceptional service. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Safety First: You will take responsibility for putting safety first and always behave in a manner that ensures your own safety and that of others.
• Team Support: You will provide basic support and guidance within the team, leading by example.
• Compliance: You will comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environment, and Food Safety standards and working practices.
• Equipment Operation: You will take responsibility for operating a wide range of equipment across the operation to deliver site standards.
• Quality Service: You will follow site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations, supporting the accurate handling and movement of goods to deliver unbeatable quality service.

Essential Ingredients

• Willing to work a flexible shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays
• Ideally previous experience in a similar role within FMCG
• Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy
• Ability to work safely and consider the safety of others
• Demonstrates attention to detail with a focus on Quality and Health & Safety
