Warburtons, the UK's leading bakery brand, is seeking a Production Shift Manager for its Bristol site. You’ll lead from the front, oversee day-to-day production, and champion safety, quality and efficiency on a four-on/four-off shift.

You’ll drive Lean, Six Sigma and CI improvements, coach teams to hit KPIs, and coordinate with planning and maintenance to keep lines running smoothly. This full-time, on-site role offers a competitive package and opportunities for development in a growing family

Our Bristol Bakery is looking for a Production Shift Manager to take ownership of shift performance, inspire teams, and help us deliver great products safely, efficiently and on time — every time.

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a mix of operational know-howandstrong leadership capability, including:

• Experience working with or knowledge ofLean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvementmethodologies
• Familiarity withSAP(or the confidence to pick it up quickly)
• Proven experience monitoring equipment performance, ensuring compliance, and resolving issues at pace
• An understanding ofsite-level planning and production flow
• A strong willingness tolead, coach and develop teamsto hit KPIs, achieve targets, and grow future talent

As a Production Shift Manager at Warburtons, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance across your shift. You’ll lead from the front, oversee day-to-day production activity, and champion our uncompromising standards in quality, safety and efficiency .

About Us

Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol. You’ll find us a 15-minute drive from the M5 and 10 minutes from Severn bridge if you’re heading over the bridge from Wales (Toll Free)!

We have 3 state of the art manufacturing plants and Bristol Bakery is.

Bristol manufacture and distribute over 12 different types of bakery products producing over 1 million units of freshly baked products per week to delight families across the UK.

With nearly 400 colleagues and over 21 different nationalities, working a variety of different shift patterns, the bakery runs 363 days of the year, 24/7.Bristol is also a dedicated Driver Training Centre and Distribution hub!
