The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost-effective management of warehouse operations. You will bring innovative ideas to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities include ensuring the smooth daily running of warehouse operations and maintaining a high level of service to customers at all times.

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring the receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch of goods are performed correctly, meeting productivity targets and budget constraints, while maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
• Tackling challenges proactively.
• Leading, developing, and fostering a positive work environment within your team.

You will need

• Knowledge of warehouse functions within the FMCG distribution industry, including operational aspects of supervising a depot warehouse. Knowledge of the transport function is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to lead, motivate, and support your team of warehouse operatives.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and managing disciplinary processes.
