Job Description: Team Manager

Salary: £31,104 total package (£28,704 per annum + £200 monthly car allowance)

Overview

Are you interested in retail and looking for a role involving high-profile projects with leading UK grocery and DIY chains? We offer salaried Team Manager positions working on new stores, refits, range reviews, and store support projects. You will work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and leading teams to maintain excellent merchandising standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of merchandisers and replenishment staff.
  • Communicate progress and finalize project sign-offs with management.
  • Conduct health and safety inductions and checks.
  • Work a typical week of 48 hours, Sunday to Thursday, with shift lengths of approximately 12 hours, including days and nights (mostly nights).
  • Use our Field Power platform via smartphone to set availability and accept shifts.
  • Clock in and out using the RAS Dashboard on your smartphone.
  • Perform tasks across various retail sites, including stock removal/replacement, adjusting shelf heights, and moving stock using roll cages and pallet trucks.
  • Travel to different sites; accommodation is provided when required.
  • Make decisions, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Possess previous experience in merchandising, retail supervision, or people management.
  • Work manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
  • Be flexible to work unsociable hours, including early mornings and nights.
