Job Description

• Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift
• Support colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership
• Ensure coordination and handover management between shifts
• Translate, analyse, and deliver customer needs through effective operations
• Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resources
• Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations
• Effective leadership, management, and communication with all warehouse departments
• Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviors
• Display a 'can do' attitude to enhance motivation of team
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity
• Recognize and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all internal/external KPIs are achieved and regularly reviewed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Team Manager should have:

• Operational Experience
• Excellent organisational/time management skills
• People Management experience, including disciplinary investigations and other HR processes
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation, and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Team Development abilities
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work within a team and interact at all levels
