Job summary

B&M Retail Limited in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced Team Manager for our Distribution Centre. This hands-on leadership role will manage a team to deliver fast, accurate, and safe warehouse operations, reporting to the Shift Manager.

You will oversee KPI delivery, coach staff, run training, conduct interviews, and drive continuous improvement during Weekday Nights (Sun-Thu, 22:00-06:00). A strong background in warehousing is essential and a can-do attitude is expected.

Job description

Are you an experienced warehouse and logistics professional? Are you ready to take that first step into management? Or are you already leading a team and want to join one of the UK's largest retailers?

We are currently searching for a Team Manager to join the team in our Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port.

The Shift Pattern available is: Weekday Nights (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 06:00am)

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take responsibility for a team of colleagues and lead them to deliver a fast, accurate and efficient service in our warehouse. You will be reporting directly to the Shift Manager.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on our internal systems, but you must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

What you'll be doing

• Leading, motivating and supporting your team to deliver high service levels
• Managing your section in terms of KPI's
• Maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially with Health and Safety
• Conducting development reviews and providing advice to colleagues where appropriate
• Planning and managing staff training, conducting interviews and investigations where required.
