Job summary

B&M Retail is seeking a Team Manager for its Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port. This hands-on leadership role requires managing a team on the Weekday Nights shift (Sunday - Thursday, 22:00–06:00) and delivering fast, accurate warehousing service, reporting to the Shift Manager.

The role is full-time and permanent. In-house training is provided, and prior warehouse experience is essential.

• Track record of achieving KPI targets.

We are currently searching for a Team Manager to join the team in our Distribution Centre in Ellesmere Port.

The Shift Pattern available is: Weekday Nights (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 06:00am)

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will take responsibility for a team of colleagues and lead them to deliver a fast, accurate and efficient service in our warehouse. You will be reporting directly to the Shift Manager.

This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be given full, inhouse training on our internal systems, but you must have previous experience working in a warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, motivating and supporting your team to deliver high service levels
• Managing your section in terms of KPI’s
• Maintaining high standards across the Distribution Centre, especially with Health and Safety
• Conducting development reviews and providing advice to colleagues where appropriate
• Planning and managing staff training, conducting interviews and investigations where required.
