Job summary

SCC in Birmingham is hiring an AFS Warehouse Driver to join our logistics and warehouse teams. The role combines driving deliveries with warehouse duties, inventory checks and safe manual handling, within a hybrid working pattern and core hours.

You will operate forklifts and other MHE, plan routes, manage manifests, and ensure accurate stock records. The position offers a permanent contract, a solid benefits package, volunteering days, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders and address concerns.
• Demonstrated ability to meticulously conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies with accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and generate accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and manage order signatures.
• Plan efficient delivery routes and coordinate with despatchers.
• Load/unload goods, secure loads, and maintain clean cargo area.
• Manage manifests and stock checks to keep inventory accurate.
• Use forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
