Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Belfast is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to track and manage performance and ensure it aligns with KPIs. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring customer requests are processed promptly and queries escalated as needed.

A typical day involves directing daily activity for a safe, compliant, and efficient environment; delivering KPI outcomes; supporting and supervising team members; and conducting performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months warehouse operations experience.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS); JDA experience preferred.
• Experience in team management.
• IT literate: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communicator - verbal and written.
• Excellent organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activity to ensure a safe, secure, clean and fair work environment for team members.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Delivery of Key Performance Indicators in line with business and contractual needs.
• Support and supervise direct reports.
• Deliver team member performance reviews, development and succession planning as appropriate.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, applied and enforced.

Job description

Contract Type: Secondment / Fixed-term Contract - 12 months
Shift patterns: Rotational, Week 1: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:00; Week 2: Monday-Friday, 12:00-20:00, plus Saturday 07:00-15:00. Sunday cover required as needed during the Oct to Dec period.
Location: Belfast, BT 36 4PX

We're now looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to track and manage individual and team performance and ensure it is in line with the department's KPIs. Managing the day-to-day activities of the operation, ensuring all customer requests are processed in a timely manner and any customer queries are answered or escalated.
