Job summary

Levy Merchandising is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager to lead the warehouse in Wednesfield, near Wolverhampton. You will drive safety, efficiency and service by guiding a team through receipt, storage and dispatch operations.

You will manage performance, coach staff, and implement continuous improvements while maintaining high inventory accuracy in a fast-paced distribution environment. A forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse supervisory/management roles.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing warehouse KPIs and performance targets.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehousing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in fast-paced distribution/logistics/e-commerce environments.
• Experience leading process/continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the warehouse team to achieve high performance and accountability.
• Oversee receipt, storage and dispatch of goods safely and efficiently.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations focusing on productivity, quality and service targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control practices.
• Allocate resources and workloads to meet changing demands.
• Collaborate with other teams to support operational objectives and customer service.
