Culina Contract Logistics in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our fast-paced operation. The role leads a team of around 10 colleagues across the shift, focusing on productivity, safety and delivering excellent service for our customers.

Working a 4 on 4 off pattern from 6am to 6pm, you will report to the Shift Manager, drive KPI targets, run quality checks and support people processes.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience leading teams or supervising staff.
• Experience handling alcohol products in a Beer, Wines and Spirits operation.
• Strong communication skills to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.
• Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of around 10 warehouse colleagues across the operation.
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.
• Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.
• Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.
