Job Description

DP World is looking for multiple Team Leaders to join our team in Minworth. The Team Leader will oversee business operations, delegating tasks to team members and resolving problems that occur on their shift. Their duties include stock inventory, coordinating employee responsibilities to improve efficiency or customer service.

Please note:

This is for our PM Shift.

PM Shift: Mon - Fri 3pm-11pm

How You Will Contribute

• Ensure smooth and efficient business operations during their shift.
• Effective communication with customers and suppliers.
• Controlling and monitoring warehouse processes.
• Planning and managing resource use.
• Monitoring work processes.
• Monitoring health & safety equipment and use.
• Recording all accidents/incidents and completing relevant documentation.
• Understanding customer requirements.
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in areas of responsibility.
• Ensuring legal compliance.
• Motivating staff and leading by example.
• Ensuring compliance with SSOW and best practices.
• Sickness/absence monitoring, including return-to-work interviews.
• Performance management of staff.
• Daily recording of warehouse activities.
• Stock auditing as required by customer.
• Carrying out Fire Marshal and evacuation procedures, including roll call.
• Promoting energy efficiency initiatives.

What You Will Bring

• Experience leading a large team.
• Self-motivated.
• Good IT skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Experience in a Tier 1 operation (JIT, Sequencing, Packing, Delivery) is beneficial.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and be a team player.
