Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Milton Keynes is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to coordinate daily logistics, manage warehousing activities and ensure on-time order processing.

You will lead a small team, report on performance, monitor safety, and cover for colleagues during absences while working Monday to Friday, 3pm–11pm, on a permanent full-time basis.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment is essential.
• Experience with preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
• Ability to lead by example and lead a team to successfully meet KPI's.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level.
• Promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements.
• Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation.

To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.
