Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: HMP The Mount - Hemel Hempstead (HP3 0NZ)
Salary: £26,262
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30

NOTE: This role is based within a prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process.

DHL, an award-winning supply chain business, manages warehouses inside prisons, providing inmates the opportunity to order basic goods such as shampoo and chocolate, paid for with their own funds. We handle the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders.

Each day on our HMPPS contract offers new challenges! As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation by leading a diverse team within this unique environment.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

• Leading a team of prisoners in a warehouse setting, while also engaging in hands-on picking and packing tasks
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse (located at the prison)
• Managing the delivery of accurate and timely order dispatches to inmates
• Ensuring operational targets are achieved and exceeded

WHAT DO WE REQUIRE FROM YOU?

• Three years of UK address history (mandatory for security clearance)
• Ability to work within a prison environment alongside inmates
• Understanding of warehouse processes (desirable)
• Strong communication skills across all levels
