Here at GXO, we are recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for our Costa Coffee contract in Purfleet. You will ensure all team members are trained, adhere to Health & Safety rules, and meet operational requirements.

This full-time, permanent position involves a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00.

Pay, benefits, and more: We offer a salary up to £30,708.08 per year, 20 days annual leave (including bank holidays), flexible dental insurance, a pension scheme, online GP, life assurance, employee assistance program, and access to our MyBenefits platform with discounts and schemes.

Typical daily responsibilities include:

• Ensuring health & safety obligations are met and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Communicating with warehouse and transport teams for collaborative working.
• Supporting planning for resources, overtime, agency bookings, and leave.
• Completing compliance reports supporting HACCP food safety guidelines.

Requirements to succeed:

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced FMCG, automation, or multi-channel environment.
• Experience managing targets and small teams.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• Understanding of health & safety and compliance legislation.
• Experience in temperature-controlled environments is an advantage.
