Job description

Menzies Distribution Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Corby, NN17. As a working Team Leader, you are expected to lead by example and ensure a high standard of workflow, along with accurate and prompt picking, packing, and dispatch of warehouse goods. The role involves completing various warehouse tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently, maintaining the highest health and safety standards at all times. Additionally, duties include managing the office when required and possessing a comprehensive warehouse knowledge and skill set.

The Details:

• Salary: £28,844.47 Per Annum / £14.42 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Rotating shifts: Week 1: 06:00-14:00 / Week 2: 14:00-22:00
• Location: Corby, NN17
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite

Key Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Fully cooperate with site safety requirements.
• Receive deliveries, check quantities, record receipt, and pass on paperwork.
• Pick and pack customer orders to meet turnaround targets, dispatching with appropriate paperwork. Handling both full pallets and manual case/break picks from racking and ground locations.
• Load trailers with customer goods promptly.
• Store customer goods from the warehouse floor into racking.
• Manual handling of products.
• Sign off and accept responsibility for completed tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Perform stock integrity and quality checks.
• Keep the warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, including shelf dusting, clearing gangways, and litter removal.
