Job summary

DHL is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader in Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU). The role focuses on coordinating daily logistics, supervising warehousing activities, and ensuring accurate order processing and safety compliance. The position is permanent and full-time with Monday–Friday evening shifts.

Ideal candidates will have proven frontline leadership in a logistics setting, a strong grasp of KPI achievement, and experience using warehouse management systems to track orders and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in logistics is essential.
• Experience in preparation and distribution of volume orders.
• Computer literate with practical knowledge of logistics software.
• Ability to lead by example and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist management by reporting on warehousing activities and performance.
• Track and trace orders using in-house tracking software; maintain records.
• Promote and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site.
• Provide absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation.

Position: Team Leader Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 3pm until 11pm Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
• To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
• To promote, adhere to and monitor Health and Safety requirements on site, including manual handling health and safety requirements
• Support with absence cover for other Team Leaders within the operation
