Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager for our Branston site near Burton upon Trent. You will lead a hands-on team to hit operational targets, maintain safety standards and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 06:00–14:30) with a salary of £34,361 per annum, 25 days’ annual leave (plus bank holidays) and a comprehensive benefits package including a pension, life cover and discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics setting.
• Strong people management skills with evidence of coaching and developing teams.
• Knowledge of key performance indicators and ability to drive results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve targets and site KPIs.
• Drive a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
• Manage performance, attendance and development plans while engaging the team.
• Deliver operational excellence through resource planning and performance reporting.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and support the Shift Operations Manager.
