Job summary

NewCold is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations in Wakefield. You will lead the team, manage workloads, and support the Shift Operations Manager to drive performance and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities include allocating tasks, processing inbound/outbound deliveries, ensuring documentation and system records, and monitoring productivity, quality and safety. A valid FLT licence and strong people skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven background in supervising or leading people.
• Solid understanding of warehouse processes and safety standards.
• Experience using warehouse management systems.
• FLT licence is required.
• Ability to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Allocate tasks and manage the team’s workload.
• Ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound deliveries and maintain documentation and system records.
• Monitor productivity, quality and safety standards; train and support the team; conduct shift briefings.
• Resolve operational issues and discrepancies; coordinate with planning, engineering and management teams.
