Job summary

Artek Mentorship in the United Kingdom is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

You will lead a small team, monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, run briefings, and ensure KPI targets are met using WMS and inventory software. A forklift licence is preferred, NVQ in Warehousing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Forklift licence (e.g., Counterbalance/Reach).
• Understanding of KPI tracking.
• Experience with inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities (receiving, picking, packing, dispatch).
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Manage and motivate warehouse staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor performance.
• Train new employees and conduct briefings.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform regular stock checks and audits.
• Ensure compliance with UK health & safety regulations.
• Conduct safety checks and enforce procedures.
• Report incidents and implement improvements.
• Liaise with transport teams and suppliers.
• Schedule deliveries and dispatches.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading.
