Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited in Northampton is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a section of the warehouse operation. You will work hands-on, supervise a group of operatives and support the management team to hit targets and maintain service levels for our nationwide white glove delivery service.

The role focuses on delivering efficient inbound and outbound processes, promoting teamwork, resolving issues with senior support when needed, and ensuring safety and accuracy in handling goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
• Take delivery of goods inbound, checking for damaged or missing items.
• Store goods appropriately.
• Sort orders for dispatch around Network.
• Promote a culture of teamwork.
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.

Our warehouse team is looking for a new Warehouse Supervisor to join them.

We strive to deliver an outstanding service to our customers and your role as a Supervisor is key to this. It's a hands on role where you will be responsible for the operation of a section within the warehouse function. Supporting the management team, responsible for a group of operatives and ensuring an achievement of business targets.
