Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd. in Wolverhampton is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of operatives and oversee the receipt, handling and despatch of stock.

This role requires strong communication, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to health and safety, with a 4-on/4-off shift pattern from 06:00 to 18:00. Full training provided, with pension, holiday allowance and other benefits.

• Ensure customer service requests are dealt with efficiently.
• Drive a can-do culture with a hands-on approach.
• Develop and mentor team members.
• Ensure smooth and timely handover of duties.

Romac Logistics are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team based in Wolverhampton.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe warehouse operations. This role involves organising workloads, monitoring performance, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Be responsible in achieving Industry leading KPI’s in Health & Safety, service, and performance.
• Manage all aspects of the receipt, handling, and despatch of stock.
• Monitor sickness and absence through effective Management skills.
• Hold accountability for Health & safety requirements and events in the workplace to ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and Contractors.
• Ensure all customer service requests are dealt with efficiently.
• Drive a can-do culture by adopting a hands-on approach.
• Develop and mentor members of your team.
• Ensure a smooth and timely handover is executed.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience of Warehousing/Cold store environment.
• You must be a strong communicator, who is able to prioritise tasks in a timely organised manner.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate must be proficient with Microsoft packages and WMS systems.
• Ability to work well with others.
